Here I am

Here I Am is a shared ride where a production comes together piece by piece in a string of pre-premiere performances Here I am – on the way to a show filled with song and dance, drawing and talking.

The journey began in the spring of 2024. At this point the age spectrum of the participants spans from 8 months to 5 years (plus the accompanying adults), and every new gathering has provided a delightfully unique mixture of movement, conversation and drawings.

The production is created scene by scene. We start with classic songs about love, with movement, moods and feelings. The shape and focus of the piece then become clearer and clearer with feedback from the performances. The big premiere is scheduled for November 2025. Then it’s time for a full show with costumes, staging, lights and sounds.

Here I am is part of Taidekaari cultural education program for 5-year-olds in 2025-26.
